Romano's Macaroni Grill at 760 Jefferson Road, Rochester, New York.

Nice decor, good service and great variety of dishes on the menu. They feature a "build your own" pasta dish where you can choose your pasta, sauce and up to three toppings that include spinach, roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, roasted peppers, sun dried tomatoes to name a few, all fresh and very generously added on the pasta. I have to admit that their bolonase sauce was one of the best I have ever eaten. The Cesar's salad that came with the meal was very good and the croutons were an excellent addition. Overall the portions were big and the prices were moderate. The only complaint was that one of my dinner companions ordered a bottle of domestic beer that was brought to the table almost luke warm. When we called the waiter to our table to point this out, he admitted that he had just restocked the cooler with that particular brand half an hour prior. He apologized but did not offer another brand that was colder or offered to take it off the bill. At $4.50 for a bottle of beer I was glad that I stuck with water. Might be best to avoid ordering any kind of alcoholic beverages as they are all over priced in my opinion. Despite that it was a very good meal and worth going back again
